Chris is a follower of Jesus who is passionate about seeing young people engage in community, faith, and life in deep, exciting and meaningful ways. With over 20 years experience in everything from church planting to university student ministry, he has had the opportunity to see many things and travel to many different places. As someone who did not grow up in the church and came to faith through a youth ministry, Chris also has a deep desire to see other young people experience the transformation and change that a pursuit of relationship with Christ can bring.

When it comes to church life, Chris loves music, theological discussions and debates, and breaking down our preconceptions about church and what it means to follow Jesus. He also loves laughing together and creating great memories and stories together. As a passionate Anabaptist, Chris believes that Mennonites have a unique viewpoint into conversations about violence, use of power, and caring for the poor.

In addition to church life, Chris loves movies, board games, playing guitar or drums, reading, sports, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with his family!
