Melanie Scott

My name is Melanie Scott. I grew up in Niagara on the Lake. I committed myself to following Christ when I was 18 years old. I have a degree in science. I married Matthew Scott and we have three children together. I’m honored to be in a position where I can share the love of God to children.

The following verses are the truth and I commit myself to be a vessel for doing God’s work: thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8-9

More than anything, the Bible makes it clear that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). He isn’t just loving, but he is the very definition of love. He loves us because he created us. His affection is unconditional. He both generates and demonstrates love – and that love endures forever (Psalm 100:5)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Corinthians 13:4-7
